This was the first “Natural Media”painting I had done in about 15 years. I approached this completely from a texture standpoint and wanted paintings built around texture with color. I was very pleased with this one even though I struggled a bit because I didn’t think it was done. Finally a friend saw it and immediately thought it was finished and that put my concerns at ease.
